Our Experience - Mountain Thunder Coffee Plantation Guided Tour
Nestled along the slopes of Kona’s coffee-growing region, Mountain Thunder Coffee offers a fantastic opportunity to experience one of Hawaii’s most famous exports right at the source. This family-owned farm provides a welcoming and educational look into the world of Kona coffee, all set against a backdrop of lush greenery and rich volcanic soil.
One of the best parts? The guided tour is completely free. Lasting approximately 20 – 30 minutes, the tour walks you through the entire coffee process—from growing and harvesting the beans to roasting and packaging. It’s a quick but informative experience that gives you a deeper appreciation for what goes into every cup.
Of course, no coffee tour would be complete without tasting. Guests are invited to enjoy free samples of their freshly roasted Kona coffee, allowing you to experience the rich, smooth flavors firsthand.
