Our Experience - Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Woods, and Sausalito Tour
This full-day small-group tour begins in downtown San Francisco, where you board a comfortable minibus and set out to explore the city’s most iconic sights. Along the way, your guide provides local insight while you make several carefully selected photo stops around the city.
One of the first major highlights is a stop at Fort Point National Historic Site, located directly beneath the Golden Gate Bridge. This unique vantage point offers one of the most dramatic and up-close perspectives of the bridge, combining historic brick architecture with sweeping coastal views overhead.
From there, the tour crosses the Golden Gate Bridge into Marin County, where the scenery quickly shifts from urban landscapes to rolling hills and coastal beauty. This journey alone offers some of the best views of San Francisco Bay and the surrounding shoreline.
The next stop is Muir Woods National Monument, where you’ll walk among towering ancient redwoods in a peaceful forest setting. The experience feels completely removed from the city, offering quiet trails, shaded paths, and some of the most impressive natural scenery in Northern California.
After Muir Woods, the tour continues to the charming waterfront town of Sausalito. Here you’ll have time to explore, enjoy lunch, and take in panoramic views back across the bay toward San Francisco.
Finally, the tour makes its way back across the Golden Gate Bridge and returns to downtown San Francisco, completing a full loop of city, forest, and coastline in one seamless day.
