Our Experience - Best of Zurich City Tour
The Best of Zurich Bus Tour is a fantastic way to get a well-rounded overview of the city and its surrounding landscapes in just half a day. The adventure begins in downtown Zurich, where you meet your coach and friendly guide before setting off through the city streets. As you drive, your guide provides engaging narration about Zurich’s history, culture, and daily life, helping you understand the city beyond just what you see out the window.
The first stop brings you down to the waterfront for photos, offering beautiful views of Lake Zurich with the city as your backdrop. From there, the tour continues along the scenic eastern side of the lake before boarding a ferry to cross the water. One thing to note: the ferry ride itself is fairly short — about 15 minutes — so while the views are lovely, it’s not a long cruise experience. It’s more of a scenic transition that adds variety to the journey.
After crossing the lake, the tour heads to Felsenegg, where you take a cable car up for panoramic views over Lake Zurich and the surrounding countryside. The vistas from the top are stunning and offer a completely different perspective from the city center. From there, you make your way back into Zurich, wrapping up a relaxed but informative half-day experience.
