What to Expect
✈️ Future of Flight Museum
Begin your visit at Boeing’s Future of Flight Aviation Center, where interactive exhibits and aircraft displays introduce the history of Boeing and the technology behind modern aviation.
🏭 Everett Factory Access
Board a shuttle to Boeing’s Everett production facility, home to the largest building in the world by volume and the assembly site for several wide-body commercial aircraft.
🔧 Active Aircraft Assembly
View real aircraft in various stages of construction from elevated observation platforms as engineers and technicians work on the massive assembly lines.
📚 Behind-the-Scenes Learning
Learn how modern airliners are built—from fuselage sections arriving at the factory to the final assembly and testing process before delivery to airlines around the world.
📵 No Cameras Inside
Photography is not allowed inside the factory, allowing Boeing to protect proprietary manufacturing processes while visitors focus on the experience itself.
Our Experience - Boeing Factory Guided Tour
The Everett factory itself is a marvel of engineering. The facility is responsible for assembling several of Boeing’s wide-body aircraft and is so large that it has its own internal roadways, massive overhead cranes, and specialized workstations dedicated to different stages of aircraft construction. From the viewing platforms, visitors can see enormous fuselage sections, wings, and tail assemblies gradually coming together to form complete aircraft.
Although photography is not allowed inside the factory for security and proprietary reasons, the experience of seeing airplanes being assembled in real time is something most aviation enthusiasts will never forget. Watching engineers and technicians work around these massive machines provides a new appreciation for the complexity involved in building modern commercial aircraft.
After the tour concludes, visitors return to the Future of Flight center where additional exhibits, aircraft displays, and outdoor viewing areas overlook Paine Field. Depending on the day, you may even see Boeing test flights or newly completed aircraft preparing for delivery.
