Our Experience - Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum
The Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum offers a fascinating look into the underwater side of naval warfare, centered around the USS Bowfin—a World War II submarine docked at Pearl Harbor. Often referred to as the “Pearl Harbor Avenger,” the Bowfin provides a unique opportunity to step inside a real submarine and see how sailors lived and operated beneath the surface.
Walking through the submarine is an experience in itself. The narrow passageways, low ceilings, and compact living spaces give you a real appreciation for the conditions submariners faced during extended missions. It’s a hands-on, immersive way to understand a different aspect of military history.
