Our Experience - Hungry Mary Beer & Chocolate Tour
The Hungry Mary Beer & Chocolate Tour in Brussels is one of those rare experiences that truly does it all. Clocking in at around five hours, this tour manages to blend Belgium’s most iconic flavors with its rich history and famous sights in a way that feels immersive, fun, and never rushed.
Over the course of the tour, we enjoyed tastings of six famous Belgian beers at well-known and beloved Belgian bars, paired with 10+ chocolates from top-tier chocolatiers. The chocolate alone would be worth it, but Hungry Mary takes things even further by including savory snacks along the way — Belgian fries, cheeses, charcuterie, and more — making this feel more like a progressive feast than a simple tasting tour.
What really sets this experience apart is how seamlessly it weaves in Brussels’ history and landmarks. Between tastings, we explored parts of the city and learned about its past, stopping at famous sites like Manneken Pis and hearing stories that gave real context to what we were seeing. It never felt like “just” a food and drink tour — it was also a cultural and sightseeing experience.
